The graphics card being looked at today is the XFX Radeon R9 285 2GB GDDR5 model.

The XFX Radeon R9 285 boasts dual fans to cool its heatsink comprised of aluminum fins with four heat-pipes. The design isn't too different from the other initial R9 285 retail graphics cards on the market with the plastic shroud and styling just varying a bit.

The Radeon R9 285 has a TDP of 190 Watts -- down from 250 Watts needed by the Radeon R9 280/280X. As a result, there's just two 6-pin PCI Express power connectors needed to provide the R9 285 with enough juice to run this GCN 1.2 GPU.

This dual-slot XFX graphics card has two DVI connectors, one HDMI connection, and one DisplayPort.

AMD's R9 285 is designed to compete with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, which comes in at slightly less than the R9 285's $250 USD price tag.
