Trying Out DRM-Next With Radeon/AMDGPU Drivers Ahead Of Linux 4.4

No major changes to see out of Xonotic, it's too bad that the graphics cards using AMDGPU were unstable on DRM-Next.

Overall, there wasn't much to see out of today's DRM-Next benchmarks -- in part due to the AMDGPU-backed graphics processors only running stable for a few of the tests, but even if they had all worked, the main limitation for these cards like the R9 285 and R9 Fury is the lack of re-clocking / power management. As has been reported already, that related power management IP is reported to have cleared AMD's review process, but it's a matter of when the open-source AMD developers will have all of that work fully ready. As this DRM-Next code stabilizes for the Linux 4.4 kernel, I'll be back with plenty more graphics benchmarks. There's also the daily mainline Linux Git benchmarks at LinuxBenchmarking.com.
