Moving onto other creator workloads like Intel's OSPRay, the Ryzen 7 7700X was collecting more wins than the Core i5 13600K. With much of Intel's own software having been optimized for AVX-512 for Xeon processors and the days when Intel's client CPUs offered AVX-512, AMD Zen 4 performs very well with its efficient AVX-512 implementation while Raptor Lake lacks AVX-512.

The presence of AVX-512 helped the 8-core / 16-thread Ryzen 7 7700X better compete with the 14-core / 20-thread Core i5 13600K in these workloads.
