Moving on to some creator workloads, first up was the Blender 3D modelling software.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X was showcasing faster render times with Blender on Linux over the Core i9 13900K.

Not only was the Ryzen 9 7950X faster than the Core i9 13900K with Blender, but that Raptor Lake CPU had a 20% higher average power consumption rate over the 7950X. The i9-13900K peaked to 299 Watts during Blender compared to a 216 Watt peak with the 7950X.

In various other CPU-based renderers, the best case for the Core i9 13900K was meeting the performance of the Ryzen 9 7950X.

But even in the select renderer workloads where the Core i9 13900K matched or slightly beat out the Core i9 13900K, it meant significantly higher power consumption.
