Besides just being a dual-core CPU, also limiting the potential of the G3258 in many of these demanding CPU benchmarks is the lack of the Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) support on the Pentium line-up.

As usual, the Phoronix Test Suite builds these tests from source and many of the tests utilize -march=native for tuning against the instruction set extensions offered by each of the CPUs.
