At least making this Pentium G3258 a bit more justifiable is that its price tag is just $70 USD and it can overclock a heck of a lot due to having the unlocked multiplier. This wouldn't be a bad CPU for a basic desktop or other lightweight system -- potentially even a HTPC system if paired with a GPU supporting VDPAU for video acceleration.
