Everything You Need To Know About The NVIDIA Jetson TX1 Performance
As some more historical perspective, I also have some results from the Tegra 3 Cardhu development tablet if wanting to go back further than the Tegra K1... The Tegra 3 Cardhu has four cores at 1.4GHz and this tablet had 1GB of RAM. Thanks to how the Phoronix Test Suite and OpenBenchmarking.org deal with test profile versioning, it's still possible for anyone to go back and compare to older results while still ensuring the same test application is used in the same configuration back when the original Cardhu testing was being done. Unfortunately this Cardhu tablet cracked and is no longer working.
To no surprise, the performance difference between a Tegra 3 and Tegra X1 are a night and day difference. NVIDIA's ARM technology has advanced rapidly in the past few years.
