VkFFT benchmark with settings of Test: FFT + iFFT C2C Bluestein benchmark in double precision. Proprietary: RTX 4090 was the fastest.
ProjectPhysX OpenCL-Benchmark benchmark with settings of Operation: FP64 Compute. Proprietary: RTX 4090 was the fastest.
ProjectPhysX OpenCL-Benchmark benchmark with settings of Operation: INT32 Compute. Open: RTX 4090 was the fastest.

Outside of graphics workloads, for GPU compute scenarios too the NVIDIA R550 open kernel driver was working out well on the consumer hardware.

I didn't encounter any issues with the R550 open kernel modules across the wide variety of workloads tested.
