With random reads using Flexible IO Tester, the Vertex 150 was actually performing on the low-end compared to the other 120~256GB SSDs being tested with its result coming in just around the speed of the Corsair Force LX and shy of the Intel 530 Series SSD.

The OCZ Vector 150 was much stronger with its random writes and came out ahead of the other five solid-state drives used for this Linux benchmarking comparison.

With sequential reads in FIO, the performance sadly dropped again with the Vector 150 performing the slowest of the six SSDs.

Lastly for FIO, the Vector 150 was at the top of its game when dealing with sequential writes.
