Once again, all testing was done from an Ubuntu 15.04 system with upgrading to Linux 4.1 Git, Mesa 10.7-devel Git, and building Mesa against LLVM 3.7 SVN for the latest AMDGPU back-end improvements.

All of this OpenGL benchmarking was facilitated via the open-source Phoronix Test Suite.

Beyond the limitations mentioned on the previous page, the OpenGL test selection isn't as interesting as the binary driver comparison earlier this week that featured Civilization Beyond Earth, Metro 2033 Redux, Metro Last Light Redux, etc. With Mesa 10.7-devel Git right now there's still officially just OpenGL 3.3 compliance while hopefully in the next few months there will be OpenGL 4.0~4.2 compliance and other enhancements to allow the drivers to run cleanly with more AAA Linux game titles.
