For the Folding@Home FAHBench OpenCL test, the GeForce RTX 4060 meanwhile managed to nearly match the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti performance.

The GeForce RTX 4060 was easily delivering the best performance-per-Watt for the Folding@Home GPU benchmark.

The LC0 chess benchmark saw the RTX 3060 Ti delivering lofty gains still over the GeForce RTX 4060 while only costing slightly more and being a previous-generation GPU. At least though the GeForce RTX 4060 is looking good with its power efficiency improvements.

For those engaging in mostly GPU compute workloads, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti at ~$40 more tended to be the better option unless power efficiency is a significant concern.
