For those doing Blender work or other CPU-based 3D modeling, Linux continues offering much better performance than Windows as shown with these Ryzen 9 5950X benchmark results. When getting to Threadripper and EPYC, the Linux advantages tend to be much more pronounced.

Windows 11 vs. Ubuntu Linux Benchmarks

Across dozens of benchmarks, Ubuntu Linux overall continued to lead over Microsoft Windows on this Ryzen 9 5950X test system. See more of these comparison OS benchmarks in full over on OpenBenchmarking.org.

Keep in mind this is still an early Windows 11 test release so at least hopefully some of the performance regressions will be closed ahead of the official release before the holidays. But at least from these preliminary benchmarks, it doesn't look like Windows 11 will be toppling Linux when it comes to performance on higher-end hardware with demanding workloads.
