Intel Core i7 1280P "Alder Lake P" Linux Laptop Performance
The i7-1280P Alder Lake P processor was great for Numpy performance.
The i7-1280P also did wonders with the single-threaded NGSPICE circuit simulator software.
For single or lightly threaded workloads the Core i7 1280P is exceptional, but when mixing in the E cores the Linux laptop potential becomes less compelling.
Even when involving AI workloads, the Ryzen 5000 series SKUs tended to come out ahead with their eight core / sixteen thread designs.
