First up are various 1080p and 1440p benchmarks with the entire span of 35 graphics cards freshly tested on Ubuntu 23.10 with the latest AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.

3DMark Wild Life Extreme benchmark with settings of Resolution: 2560 x 1440. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

The RTX 4070/4080 obviously run with ease for 3DMark Wild Life Extreme on Linux at 1440p, but it's interesting to see the generational difference and how far the RTX 40 series performance has come since the RTX 20 days. The RTX 4080 SUPER was running around 13% faster than the RTX 4080. There were also nice improvements with the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER over the RTX 4070.

The new RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards were all delivering better performance-per-Watt than the earlier RTX 40 cards as well as the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series competition.

DiRT Rally 2.0 benchmark with settings of Resolution: 2880 x 1620, Graphics Preset: Ultra. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

With the DiRT Rally 2 racing game on Linux under Steam Play, the SUPER cards were delivering some minor gains over the non-SUPER variants. The Radeon RX 7900 XTX managed to come out just ahead of the RTX 4080 SUPER here.

On a performance-per-Watt basis the RTX 40 SUPER cards were doing well and comparable or slightly better than the RX 7000 series. AMD used to have the power efficiency advantage but the RTX 4080 / 4090 series has managed to deliver the best performance per Watt for this game.
