HITMAN 3 on Linux by way of Steam Play continues to perform very well with the mesa RADV driver: the Radeon RX 7900 XTX can match the GeForce RTX 4090 while the RX 7900 XT can outperform the RTX 4080 SUPER, but this game is rather an exception.

For those interested in the X-Plane 12 flight simulator, the RTX 4080 SUPER performance was matching the RX 7900 XTX, but on the downside the RTX 4080 SUPER is set to retail for $999 USD compared to the RX 7900 XTX at around $750 USD.

The RTX 40 series was leading in the best performance-per-Watt for the X-Plane flight simulator.
